Mr. Baridi is a detailed-oriented finance and administration expert in human development services with over 12+ years of experience in quantitative financial analysis, budgeting, procurement, accounting, and forecasting. He has leveraged from strong analytical skills to support operations through a robust modelling that facilitates Senior Management-level decision making processes. These skills garnished with a risk-based approach has enabled him to contribute to capacity in accountability and stewardship reporting to donor agencies and key stakeholders. He quickly adapts to new technologies, donor required standards while maintaining a dynamic work environment.
Prior to joining the Board of Directors of the Foundation, her served as Senior Finance and Administrative Officer with Family Health International and subsequently held the same position in Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative. He has held various financial management positions in national/international NGOs and private marine/oil and gas companies in Nigeria.
Over the years, he has been responsible under the leadership of Senior Management in the management and implementation of effective and efficient operational, financial, administrative and compliance activities that deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations, documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Guidelines and donor rules while adhering to national and international regulations.
His experience includes assisting in overseeing overall operations at state level while providing operational guidance. He has a strong financial acumen that contributes to regular review of operational practices, development of internal standards, governance framework, optimisation of polies and providing feedback on risk strategies etc.
